Speaker Series Special Case Presentations
Introduction to Speaker Series Case Presentations
Our company started over 40 years ago. Over the years we have heard many interesting examples of cases. Some successes, some plateaus. Always some insight. The other common thing we hear from all levels of practitioners, is that at some point in their practice, they have reached out to colleagues or had to Google symptoms and diagnosis, looking for inspiration or another point of view of a patient presentation they do not regularly see in their practice.
We aim to create a dialogue and sharing of different Acupuncture cases as a way to share experiences. This is not a ‘teaching’ webinar. It is a ‘sharing’ webinar.
Get ready to dive into a myriad of cases ranging from the most complex and challenging to the more common ones that we encounter in our professional lives. You will get to see and understand the thinking process, practical strategies, and effective tactics of some of the most respected practitioners in the industry. Do not miss this chance to learn from some of the most experienced in the business. Advance your knowledge, build on your existing skills, and elevate your professional journey by securing your place in our forthcoming webinar series. Don’t let this incredible opportunity pass you by! Come, let’s engage, learn and grow together.

Working from the Centre: How Abdominal Treatments became the Cornerstone of my Practice
Most Traditional Asian Medicine practitioners hold at least a theoretical understanding of the abdomen as “vital” and “central” to health and vitality. Many needle or apply moxa to specific abdominal points. But there is so much more that we can do with the abdomen.
In this presentation, Daniel Adler will explore why abdominal treatment has become such a core element of his clinical practice over the last 26 years — in bodywork and herbal prescribing, and in both diagnosis and treatment. He will describe how he first began working with the abdomen, the specific influences that shaped the development of his approach, and share clinical examples that illustrate the practical applications and outcomes of this treatment protocol. He will also make a case for the importance of increased use of bodywork in general for modern day clinical practice.
